IEC 61511 - ISA 84.00.01 are very practically explained. I would like to rate this book as one of the best available on the market today (summer 2007) and would urge every one active in any part of the life cycle activities to read this book more than once and make it the reference guide for good engineering practise and to keep ultimately your process plant(s) safe!
