what should we take pride in?!!!

i had just read some stories and thinked a lot! a idea appear in my mind: what should we pride in this realistic world? trophy? contribution? or achievement? maybe they will give you a great complimant or an accept around, but are they the right things that you are proud of when you recall this period of time? NO!! i think it is the difficulties you dealt with, the unfortune that you went through, illnesses that you endured, and so on. you know , for a soldier, what he often flaunts is the scars on his body, and he can even tell you the stories beneath each scar, plain but moving! they represent his part of life, this is real ,this is true! this does beyong what medals can explain! so what you think?!! |
