PhD /Postdoc Fellow Positions in Biomedical Optics/EEG

The Bioimaging Core at Faculty of Health Sciences with University of Macau has 1 opening for a PhD position and 1 opening for a postdoc position. The research field for the PhD position should be biomedical optics or photoacoustic imaging/photoacoustic microscopy while the research field for the postdoc position should be biomedical optics or EEG/ERP. The Bioimaging Core is a new research unit that is under vigorous reconstruction along with the recently established Faculty of Health Sciences in University of Macau in Macau SAR. Our school goal is to build a leading biomedicine research center in the world. Presently we have 4 lab members including PI, 2 PhD students and 1 postdoc technician. We have published over 50 high impact factor journal papers with over 1000 independent citations. Welcome to join us. The research directions in Bioimaging Core include: 1) Photoacoustic imaging/ photoacoustic microscopy; 2) Optical Molecular imaging in pre-clinical studies; 3) Fused EEG-fNIRS, EEG-fMRI, and fMRI-fNIRS for clinical studies in neurosciences and neuropsychology. We provide competitive salary and university accommodation (the basic scholarship including tuition is about 20,000US$/year for the PhD position; additional payment depends on the performances). The basic salary for the postdoc positions is between 33000-45000US$/year in terms of working experiences and services in UM. University accommodation is also provided for the postdoc/phd positions. The contract for postdoc is term-based long time employment. The CVs from all the applicants will be carefully reviewed. Position will remain open until suitable candidates are found.
