My lady,
I could feel through your words how passionate you are about your ideal since childhood and one should admit it is a gift to have such a burning interest. From your info, it does not seem your work/study has any direct relationship to this passion. As we are always aware of, 9 out of 10 times things are long long way from being perfect and related to our interests/hobbies/ideals, how many could succeed in getting them realised in life? While acknowledging pities left for our life is both natural, necessary and even enriching, it may still be felt as regret when we get old and the chance to even try it is gone.
I know it may sound ridiculous, but if you'd REALLY be very regretful when you get old, for not having even tried to realise the ideal, it might be wise to have a thorough thought about it NOW. What is the worst that can happen if you started tomorrow to pursue this (both as a hobby and a carrier)? Can you take the consequence of failure and still feel it worthwhile, since you have tried? Who knows in some years we'd hear a famous female designer who has conquered the mode world, not only in China but also overseas?
I do not know how young you are, presumably very young (as I am old, everyone else is young). So a few years of trying another path in life may prove very useful, insightful and rewarding.
Just remember, not everything is possible, but if one does not try, every single thing is IMPOSSIBLE.
