"visiting faculty" 外导这个是什么意思？

最近在联系出国访学的地方，联系的外导已经同意接收，回信中下面这个没看懂，求助坛里的虫子帮忙分析下！谢谢！ We have two categories of visitors. The first is visiting scholar; this is easy to set up for me. If however, you have to be called "visiting faculty" it is more difficult but we can do it. I was trying to ask you if you were considered faculty at your university. |
