Abstract: Triticum aestivumLinn was used as experimental material in this study, by determining relative elongation rate of embryo, and the physiological indexes such as length, fresh weight and dry weight of radicle and embryo, and the content of osmotic adjustment organic substances - proline, soluble sugar. The influence that brown coal distillate treatment to the germination of Triticum aestivumLinn seeds was analyzed. The results showed that, under the non-salt stress, brown coal distillate treatment compared to control check 1 treatment, optimal concentration was 10‰ . The length of radicle and embryo, the content of proline in the embryo increased significantly (P<0.05), and the other physiological indexes was also raised, however, the numerical value was reduced when the concentration was 20‰. Under the salt stress, brown coal distillate treatment compared to control check 2 treatment, optimal concentration was 40‰, the length of bud and the content of proline in the embryo increased significantly (P<0.05),
the content of soluble sugar in the embryo was lower, while the other physiological indexes was raised, nevertheless it was adverse under brown coal distillate treatment when the concentration was 50‰. Therefore, suitable concentration of BCD could promote the germination of Triticum aestivumLinn seeds under non-salt stress, and it also could anesis the inhibiting effect of seeds when its germinated under salt stress. |
