Use the methylimidazole and 3-chlorine-1propyl alcohol as the matierials to synthesize ionic liquid-NpmimBF4, and graft and immobilize the NpmimBF4 to FDU-15, successfully preparing organic mesoporous catalyst-NpmimBF4-FDU.Basic representation of the structure of the NpmimBF4-FDU is conducted with relevant testing method, and its application in the hydrolysis reaction of the propylene carbonate(PC) is also analyzed.
Results showed that this catalyst is effective to catalyze propylene carbonate(PC) into 1,2- propylene glycol(PG).With 4% weight of the catalyst, temperature of 80¡æ and reaction hours of 2h,conversion percentage  of propylene carbonate(PC) is over 99%.With simple separation, the  catalyst can be used 5 times meanwhile the activity variation is low. Moreover, the manchanism of 1,2- propylene glycol(PG) by  catalyzing  propylene carbonate(PC) is analyzed basically.

The ionic liquid NpmimBF4 was synthesized from methyl imidazole and 3 - chloro-1 - propanol, and grafted and immobilized onto FDU-15. This resulted in the successful preparation of the organic mesoporous catalyst NpmimBF4-FDU. Its structure was preliminarily characterized by related testing approaches, and its activity on hydrolysis of propylene carbonate (PC) was investigated. The results showed that the catalyst effectively catalyzed hydrolysis of propylene carbonate into 1,2 - propylene glycol (PG). When the hydrolysis was conducted with a concentration of 4% (wt) of the catalyst at 80¡æ for 2 hours, PC conversion efficiency was greater than 99%, while PG selectivity was greater than 99%.The catalyst could be reused, after simple separation, for five times while its activity did not change much.  We also conducted preliminary investigation of the catalytic mechanism of hydrolysis of PC into PG.

The ionic liquid NpmimBF4 was synthesized by using methyl imidazole and 3 -chloro-1 - propanol as material, then NpmimBF4 was grafted and immobilized onto FDU-15. Thus, the organic mesoporous catalysts NpmimBF4-FDU was successfully prepared. Preliminary characterization of its structure was conducted by relevant testing devices, and its application in the hydrolysis reactions of the propylene carbonate(PC) was also inspected. The results obviously revealed that the catalyst could catalyze hydrolysis of propylene carbonate into 1,2 - propylene glycol (PG) effectively. Under the condition that the hydrolysis was conducted with a content of 4% (wt) , the temperature was 80¡æ, and the reaction time was 2 hours, the conversion rate of PC was more than 99%, while the selectivity of PG was greater than 99%. The catalyst could be reutilized at least five times, however , there was no much great changes on its activity, by simple separating. In the meantime, a preliminary inquiry of the manchanism that 1,2- propylene glycol(PG)  catalyzed into propylene carbonate(PC) was also conducted.
