This is a so amazing and inspiring movie that I watch it over and over again. My favorite part is that Alfred Blalock said “Where you see the risks, l see opportunity.” and “l always have a chance.” Being afraid of failure, most people would not take that opportunity. But Alan Rickman is not one of them. He devote all her efforts to the medical science, making tremendous achievements including the blue baby event. As far as I am concerned, Vivien Thomas did a lot to reach these achievements. He dreamed of being a doctor and he grasped the opportunity to work with Alfred Blalock. As a saying goes gold will glitter forever, with deep love in medical science and great perseverance, he finally gained acceptance. Both of them are examples that we should learn from. Opportunities coexist with challenges. We can achieve great things if we take the chances and overcome the difficulties. |
