The Arrhenius equation

The Arrhenius equation was used for determining the relationship between hydrogen production and temperature: lnRx=lnA+nlnS- Ea/RT (3) where Rx is hydrogen production rate; A is the Arrhenius pre-exponential factor; S is substrate concentration (g/l); R is the ideal gas constant (8.314 J/mol/K) and T is the absolute temperature(K); Ea is activation energy (kJ/mol). 审稿人意见: The n given in Eq. (3) is not defined. This section could use more explanation/discussion, e.g. what is the utility of deriving a parameter for this equation, in what range is it expected to valid, is it really reasonable to calculate an activation energy for a biological transformation, or should this be seen as a fully empirical model? 我对这个不太懂,不知哪位大侠能帮我解释下吗?不胜感激 |
