conflict of interests这么重要？编辑还专门来信问这个，大家看看

以前投稿不记得有这么一出啊？这什么意思？是例行惯例？还是编辑觉得文章有问题？ 求高人指路。 Dear XXX, I am writing regarding your manuscript titled “XXX.” According to our editorial policy, a competing interest exists when professional judgment concerning the validity of research is influenced by a secondary interest, such as financial gain. We require that our authors reveal any possible conflict of interests. If there is no conflict of interests, authors should state that “The author(s) declare(s) that there is no conflict of interests regarding the publication of this article.” However, If you have a conflict of interests, kindly send me an updated PDF version of your manuscript including the "Conflict of Interests" section. Thus, I would appreciate it if you could clarify whether you have or have not any conflict of interests. I am looking forward to receiving your prompt response within the coming two days.
