Maybe we need to realize the art and beauty of the language first. Then you will desire to master it, get close to it. To learn under no pressure rather than too purposfully found in many of us sometimes is an efficient way for a long-term study, definitely, the use of a language.

For me, it is still very difficult to enjoy the beauty of English, the first problem is still vocabulary. When I read something, often I meet so many words I don't know, so I can only understand part of what the author want to tell.

Yes, because we can, we still are strugling.

Another reason is, compared with many countries, we have a very low percentage of English-speaking people in our country.
