[交流] Is it better to travel abroad rather than travel domestically?

(below is my opinion. What about you?)
To enrich their lives that they have never had in their own country, many people desire to travel abroad, like go to the Cape Town of South Africa, or The Perking of China. As a result, some people maintain that travelling abroad is superior to travel domestically. I agree, because exploring different places in a foreign country can broaden our horizons to a greater extent.

Firstly, travelling abroad can experience a diversity of cultures. In terms of food culture, when travelling to China, American people will find a common trend, that  the northern people in China mainly eat noodles and Man Tou, while the southern people in China live with rices. In additon, When it comes to the Dragon Boat Day, a famous Chinese festival, people usually eat Zong Zi, which is cooked by steamed rices with additonal other yummy foods. If the American friends on that day try these foods. I believe they will have good memories for these dilicious foods.

Besides that, it is the exotic landscape that goind to a foreign country can explore. As the above we discussed, the American friends can not miss visitting some famous interests, especially the Great Wall. As the proverb saying in China: people who have never seen the Great Wall is not a real man. The Great Wall is the greatest building in China, which is built by ancient Qin Dynasty for protecting the native residents. If  an American man climb the Great Wall bit by bit, he must lost control, then shout to the surrouding montains: I'm here, I overwhlem you, the Great Wall.
You can imagine that nothing is more pride than the feeling.

Not only do travelling experience cultures and landscapes, but it also can learn native speaking. A very good example is that Chinese travel to the Unites States of America, they can quikly gain the interesting meaning of many words, like people say "good job" to you  means they appreicate what you did, instead "you have a good job". "Bingo" means "good, great, or OK". By listening to what native residents said, there is no doubt that these Chinese would tremendously improve their English.

Admittedly, compared to the cost of travel domestically, the cost for travelling abroad such as air tickets is more expensive. But as soon as travelers can budget for the trip, like purchase the discounted air tickets and try snacks freely, the problem can be solved.

In a sum, when it's my chance to travel, I prefer to travel abroad rather than travel in my own country.

This time I did not write up my own version but rather proofread for you.
As you may be aware of my writing pattern when I deal with this type of writing, you can reserve some of the formats (not Mo Ban!) I use.

Hope I can see a better writing next time.
I want to see your improvement with time.

Many people have a preference to travel abroad, like go to the Cape Town of South Africa, or the Perking of China, because they attach a unique significance to travelling abroad. I hold the same view, because exploring different places in a foreign country is more likely to broaden our horizons to a great extent.

Of course we all have a clear realization that travelling abroad is comparatively expensive, which is something less attractive compare with domestic travel. For people on a budget, it is not advocated to travel abroad because running over budget can easily occur, causing unnecessary financial burdens for the family. An unrealistic tight budget can always make quality stay and enjoy in a foreign country hard to achieve, and could potentially turn an expected travel experience into a nightmare.

However, on most occasions, the experience we gain in international travel is just unforgettably amazing.

Travelling abroad enables us to experience a diversity of culture. Here food culture can be an illustrative example. When travelling to China, foreigners always find that the northern mainly serve noodles as their staple food, while in southern China, people eat rice. Then these travelers will get to understand this phenomenon largely due to historical factors: ancient Chinese do not grow rice in the south because of the climate restraints. Although modern technology and convenient delivery could solve the problem perfectly, this custom is still reserved.

One funny thing is that you can always pick up the way that the local express themselves when travelling abroad. For example, native speakers do not always say “seldom” in oral communication, they say “rarely” instead. Maybe for the non-English background, there are few opportunities for them to get it in their home country. By learning their ways of using English, our English could be made less “Chinglish”, and by the next time we meet a foreigner, we can use the correct way to communicate so as to avoid many misunderstandings and embarrassment.

To conclude, I would say I prefer traveling abroad to domestic travel, because I am a person who is always looking forward to the unexpected.

i think it's little about the places where we travel, the matter is that you can get what you want from your travel.
say you happened to go to America during their government is in shutdown,or to Jiu Zai Gou in national day,i think the better is stay at home.
