Advanced CMOS Cell Design (Professional Engineering) By Etienne Sicard, Sonia Delmas Bendhia, Publisher: McGraw-Hill Professional Number Of Pages: 364 Publication Date: 2007-03-07 Sales Rank: 1785689 ISBN / ASIN: 0071488367 EAN: 9780071488365 Binding: Hardcover Manufacturer: McGraw-Hill Professional Studio: McGraw-Hill Professional Average Rating: 4 Total Reviews: 1 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Book Description: Take Advantage of Today's Most Sophisticated Techniques for Designing and Simulating Complex CMOS Integrated Circuits! An essential working tool for electronic circuit designers and students alike, Advanced CMOS Cell Design is a practice-based guide to today's most sophisticated design and simulation techniques for CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) integrated circuits. Written by two internationally renowned circuit designers, this outstanding book presents the state-of-the-art techniques required to design and simulate every type of CMOS integrated circuit. The reference contains unsurpassed coverage of deep-submicron to nanoscale technologies…SRAM, DRAM, EEPROM, and Flash…design of a simple microprocessor…configurable logic circuits…data converters… input/output…design rules… and much more. Packed with 100 detailed illustrations, Advanced CMOS Cell Design enables you to: Explore the latest embedded memory architectures Master the programming of logic circuits Get expert guidance on radio frequency (RF) circuit design Learn more about silicon on insulator (SOI) technologies Acquire a full range of circuit simulation tools This Advanced CMOS Circuit Design Toolkit Covers- • Deep-Submicron to Nanoscale Technologies • SRAM, DRAM, EEPROM, and Flash • Design of a Simple Microprocessor • Configurable Logic Circuits • Radio Frequency (RF) Circuit Design • Data Converters • Input/Output • Silicon on Insulator (SOI) Technologies • Impact of Nanotechnologies • Design Rules • Quick-Reference Sheets -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: 2007-09-14 Rating: 4 Review: easy learning of chip design The authors describe 90nm CMOS technologies and how you can design chips in these. The most common types of circuits are covered. RAM, DRAM, ferroelectric RAM, counters, FPGA, etc. Also, the practical needs of interfacing from within a chip to the exterior world are described in sections about converters and sensors. The latter includes the important case of image sensors. Here, CMOS offers cheaper fabrication than the currently dominant CCD. If you have never laid out a chip, then the book gives an easy introduction. The layout tools are very advanced. With several metal layers. A great advance over the single and double metal layer abilities of the 80s, when I was designing chips. The software also lets you attach simulated output taps at various parts of your chip. So that you can simulate and look at the time dependent outputs. A vital debugging ability. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TIP Click on [LINKS] tab above to see links (if there are any) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Advanced CMOS Cell Design (Professional Engineering) By Etienne Sicard, Sonia Delmas Bendhia submitted by vsu2all , 19 minutes ago 14 views, updated 19 minutes ago -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Item is attached to: Computers / IT Electronics Science / Engineering -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No comments found for this item add comment http://rapidshare.com/files/73479415/Advanced_CMOS_Cell_Design_-_0071488367.rar [ Last edited by sinapdb on 2007-12-4 at 19:42 ] |
