Typhoon Usagi warnings cancelled in Fujian
|

Authorities in East China's Fujian Province have lifted typhoon warnings after Usagi weakened to a tropical storm. Boat crossings between Xiamen and the famous scenic Gulangyu Island have resumed. Factories, shopping malls and entertainment venues have reopened. In the neighboring Guangdong Province, rail services that were suspended on Sunday night have resumed. Railway authorities are advising travelers to pay close attention to information updates released by rail stations. Airlines have also gradually resumed flights after hundreds were grounded, but delays are still expected due to unstable weather.
