Recently, alternative therapeutic antibodies have been developed that target the Notch1 receptor or individual ligands, such as Dll4 and have entered Phase Iclinical trials . It is hoped that the use of antibodies targeting Notch signaling will display specific therapeutic efficacy by interfering with tumor Notch signaling and tumor angiogenesis to reduce tumor growth, with a lower toxic profile compared with that of g-secretase inhibitors. |
