看不懂评审人的意思 biological windows是啥意思啊

暑假前投了一篇英文，近日审稿意见回来。。。结果评审人长篇大论没看懂人家在说啥咋整，这该怎么改啊。。如下： “1. I think authors forgot to mention carbon nanotubes. They are promising materials that are being extensively used for deep-tissue fluorescence bio-imaging by working in the second biological window. 2. When referring to up-converting nanoparticles please note that they can work not only in the visible but also in the infrared (first and second biological window). New materials should be referred in a revised version to account for this fact. 。。。” 请教下各位高手。。。他说的话我倒是明白，但是其中first /second biological windows是什么意思啊，后面还有很多条，每条都说到这个。。。到底是啥啊 |
