[交流] Can you help me , my good friends ?

Today is Sunday . I am on duty . I am not busy. I read some  articles in english cafe . My english is not good ,but I like english .I didn't  use english since I worked , two years. Now, I want review english ,I want learn oral english from now .I get this forum from my friend. Everyday i  am here in  Xiaomuchong. I envy your good english , envy you can learn in abroad . I want get some english learning materials from you . I want talk with foreigners, but I don't have this chance since worked. In school , my oral english teacher is a foreigner ,I had his oral english class one year. In here ,there are so many kind people ,you ,she or he . Your english is so good ,I must learn from all of you . If you have some good ideas to help me learn oral english ,I will thank you .I hope you can give me some advise .Thank you very much, thank yo my dear friends.

Perhaps it is a good idea to improve oral English by seeing American films, and i am trying to write down the dialogues and then read them again and again, i hope i can make obvious progress in oral English by the way.

I do not think seeing American film is a good idea. when seeing a moive, most of the time we will engage in the plot and forget our aim. jioning a trainning course will be bettter. for ome thing, you can make full use of your time. for another, you make friends who have the same hobby whih you.

Hi my friend,
I am not sure if it works for you but it did for me -
1. Unless you aim at a future job with lots of writing, pay attention to how people say it in their daily life, that is, simple expressions, few words. You may find these in movies, short stories and newspaper articles.
2. Whenever reading/listening, try to extract the pattern of sentence, yes, the structure. It helps a lot when you need to say the same or similar things.
3. Try to read a novel (I liked very much Agatha Christie and even Alexander Dumas) - that will keep your enthusiasm high and you do not feel as frustrated to look things up.
