ÕªÒª: The permeability variation characteristic was measured by laboratory flow experiments, and a newly developed pressure gradient-varying permeability (PGVP) numerical simulator was used to Chang8 reservoir. The primary goal is to put the PGVP simulator into field application. Seven well plans were designed based on a history-matching geological model to identify the optimum condition for converting the diamond-shape inverted nine-spot well pattern to a five-spot well pattern. The comprehensive comparison and analysis of oil saturation and dimensionless permeability coefficient distribution in different well plans were provided. The simulation results also provide reference to the application of permeability variation numerical simulation in low-permeability reservoir.

ÕªÒª: A newly developed low-velocity non-Darcy flow numerical simulator is applied to the Fuyu formation. The three-dimensional geological model of subject reservoir was established and 9 well plans were designed to obtain the optimal well adjustment plan. Additionally, the formation pressure gradient distributions were provided and the flow regions were divided to study the adaptability of different well adjustment plans. The numerical simulation of Da45 reservoir is an excellent opportunity to: (1) put the non-Darcy flow numerical simulator into application, (2) provide guidance for the Da45 reservoir, and (3) provide reference to the non-Darcy flow numerical simulation technique.
