The Summary of the 61th English Corner There were 8 people joined EC. Frank is the host, Cindy is a teacher who comes from Aston English training school. Allen was busy, so she can’t show up. Anyway, let me show u the name list: Cindy, Frank, Shelley, Apple, Amy, Hejinjie, Wangyifan and one boy who always come to EC, never want to say a word. Our topic is about the school opening day. At first, Frank told us to introduce ourselves as usual. Cindy comes from Shanxi. She’s been here for one and a half year. She is an English teacher now. Wangyifan is 11 years old. Frank is a student of N0.2 Middle school, he has a lot of hobbies, such as, basketball, listening to music, make friends. Amy likes speak English with her daughter. Hejinjie likes eat, he is 10. Shelley is me. I told others about my hobby, is to read crazy English speaker, although I never finished it from the moment I have it. Frank: Talk about our topic. I want to be the first one to eat the crab. I will ask u one question, “Do you have some plans about the new term? Cindy: About plans, schedule. Frank: Yes. For me, I would like to do four things. 1. Study harder. 2.Play basketball after school.3. Play computer games at weekend.4. Look after our small shop, which host by my mom. I hope I can help her to take care of the shop, give her some free time to have some rest. Amy: I want to help my daughter study well. I am not satisfied with her school teacher, when my daughter come home ,she told me, she doesn’t wantto speak to the teacher. You know, teacher’s always love the good student, it is not means my daughter can’t have high score, it is just my idea about the teacher, I don’t think it is their right to treat any student not well. Cindy: Are u try to tell us that, you think the teacher is unfair? Ok, then, now I want to say something about the new term. I am an English teacher. I hope I can work harder than before; gain a great achievement; get along with my students, and read more books, be a good wife. Frank：So, we still have time, do you guys want to chat something really funny during the summer vacation? This holiday is meaningful for me. I joined the big activity, which was hold by Aston English school and Kangcheng Hotel. I gained one certificate, and the amazing part is I can give it to my teacher as my social activity work. Hejinjie: I stay at home all my days. When I go outside, there is no one to play with, so I go back home. Apple: I played jumping bed, and had a short trip with my dad and mom. Wangyifan: I played with my friends. Shelley: For me, I spend all my time to work and take care of my baby. He is almost two years old, he is naughty, cute. I took him to some places to watch different kind of birds and animals. I also let him play with the sand, although he is too young to play with it, he still enjoys it. We had a great time on Sunday morning, at the end of the EC, kids want to talk about food and th difference between wolf and pig, so the new topic is that. Hope u can join us to chat. | What a good chance! I want to have this kind of chance to practice my spoken English. I want to improve my English language ability sincerely. So, i persist in practicing English in "English Cafe". I hope that i can improve it. |
