Additional chapters discuss ozonation, electrolysis, sedimentation, dissolved air flotation, gravity filtration, granular activated carbon adsorption, and sludge treatment. The emphasis throughout is on developing the necessary engineering from fundamental principles of chemistry, physics, and mathematics.
