A is correct. When noise is used for the meaning of " 噪音,响声;声音" , it is usually used as " 不可数or 单数“。 Eg：There was too much noise in the room and he needed peace But when noise is used for the meaning of "言语", it is usually used as "复数“ Eg: The President took care to make encouraging noises about the future. |
