帮老板发帖子，学校位于美国中部最大的城市KANSAS CITY,校园坐落于市中心，好吃好玩的都很多。老板的研究方向很新，如果想做学术有前途的。 Kansas City有全美国最大的土木工程协会，好几个最大的土木公司的总部都在这里，毕业之后的进工业界工作的前景也很好。有兴趣的同学自己和老板直接联系，记得附上简历哦。 Interdisciplinary doctoral studies at UMKC in Civil Engineering A self-motivated doctoral student is sought in the area of Civil Infrastructure Engineering at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. 2014-Spring admission is recommended at this point. Students seeking a doctoral degree with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Applied Mechanics are preferred. Outstanding undergraduate students seeking Master’s studies are also welcomed. Candidates with a strong background in general physical simulation (e.g. structural analysis using finite element methods) and computer programming (C++/Matlab) are favored towards financial aids. The research projects feature the use of emerging imaging (UAV and crowdsourced imaging) for civil infrastructure and built environment modeling, probabilistic damage detection and inference, and applied development for natural disaster and social emergency response.
