some idea from a book in my summer vacation

ln this summer vacation,maybe this is my last vacation as a student.l want to get the drive license but i have no attended a school of teaching driving skill.so i decided that take part in a school for driving license. l have enough time to what i want to do in this summer vocation,so some novels in English is good way to kill time,unfortunately,the story too long to understand it well ,and there are some words i don't know what they are meaning ,but i can understand the main meanings,and i can got the meanings of new words by English dictionary. l was be touched by one of those book--a tree grows in Brooklyn,francie is girl who is a brave fighter,her mother is a woman who help the rich families clean the house,her father is amateur singer who couldn't get steady salary to support the family.almost line on the mother of cleaner.in order to get some money ,francie and her brother collect some trash and sale it to a man who have a stable for trash center,She go to the break bakery buy some stale bread because the stale bread is half price of the fresh bread.She often read the books in a library and she want to read all of the book in this library,she is a girl who loves reading. i couldn't forget a dialogue,francie' father complain his fate,he six grade in primary school is his highest grade,he said that he couldn't drive a trolley car like a formal pleasant,he couldn't be a stage singer because he does not know what should he do for it.he have a family,wife,daughter and son,but he couldn't support it,he does not want to have a family if he couldn't earn enough money.i was be touched by it,for a man ,we should try our best to make family more good rather than flee the responsibility from family,because we are the man of our family.(my English is poor,if you find any problems ,please tell. me) [ 发自手机版 http://muchong.com/3g ] [ Last edited by 据说的种种 on 2013-8-23 at 21:18 ] |
