Senior scientist, protein characterization, Protein Chemistry Department Responsibilities: Design and execute quality control and characterization strategies for recombinant proteins and antibodies Develop, validate and implement protein analytical methods using techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, DLS, DFS, and CE Work closely with cross functional team members to provide scientific expertise and insights Build external visibility by maintaining good publication record and presenting own work at internal and external meetings Qualifications: Ph.D. in biophysics, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, biochemistry or related fields with minimum 2 years of postdoc training or industrial working experience In-depth understanding of protein biophysical properties Strong background and proficient in protein characterization across a wide range of technologies in HPLC/UPLC, DLS, UV/Vis and DFS Hand-on experience in protein purification, biochemical assay development and knowledge in protein structure and function relationships are preferred Knowledge and experience in protein pre-formulation and other protein characterization technologies as LC-MS, CE, CD, ITC will be plus Proactive and collaborative to work in a dynamic, innovative, and interdependent research environment Excellent communication (both verbal and written English) and presentation skills |
