[交流] Baby killed by a car at the exit of a garage.

It happened at about 12:48 pm, on August 17 in Kunming.

The mother with the baby in a stroller entered through the exit of the garage, with a friend. When they saw a car was pulling out, they stopped and stood very close to the wall, to make way for the car.

Unfortunately, the car went towards these three persons and pushed them out of the exit, moved against the wall, and kept the baby between the wall the car.

The driver did not get out the car, or move the car to let the baby out immediately, even when the mother and other people asked.

Later, many people lifted and moved the car with their hands, so the baby was got, but already dead.

Who is responsible for the tradgedy?

1. The driver. She should have let the pedestrains pass by first, then pull her car out.

2. The mother, she should have not entered and stayed in the exit while a car was intended to pull out.

There must be a automible culture in this world, how to behave when a car is involved. First of all, life is important, so cars should always yield to a pedestrain, second, keep away from a moving car.

With more and more cars in China, I still want to say, we are not ready to welcome an era on wheels.

We need to learn  more.

what I want to add:
it had no relationship about what type of car the driver used. Audi A8 and Chery had no difference when such tragedy happened. Many netizen are" jealous of rich" psychology distort the truth...
about the driver who are not moving:
So scared...Trembling...lost her mind...
in that situation, She was also the one who need help. but of course. she should be punished for what she had done.

I've seen the news. Personally I think that the driver have a moral problem,and she shall bear the main responsibility.

some opinions from campus BBS:
Main responsibility: The Driver. Of course she have to avoid person when driving. The lesson she learned is a life cost. (She may just received the license.)
Secondary: The mother. She may regret as her whole life as such a mistake she had made. There is a warning that person is prohibit to pass the garage gate. She ignored. and normally, The parents should consider all the surroundings which may hurt the child.(So very agree with your view that we are not ready for welcoming the wheels.)
Added: The building design. There is no elevator which is helpful for the baby car. So many habitants prefer the elevator which start from the garage.
so many accidents happened related about baby. In January, the baby in a car was stolen and was killed in Changchun was also a bloody lesson. "Never let your baby out of your eyes and put them in a potential  danger place."

No doubt it is responsibility of driver, the weaker should be protected. Ask the driver to change her position to the poor family side and considrr what she did is actually crime

I think this can be regarded as somewhat as a murder.
