【英语读写技巧27】英语新词：不辞而别 ghosting 参加聚会时，如果有事要先走，一般都会跟主人打声招呼再走。但有些人为了避免客套，或者不想因为自己的离开而引发更多客人离开，所以选择悄悄溜走。 Ghosting — aka the Irish goodbye, the French exit— refers to leaving a social gathering without saying your farewells. One moment you're at the bar, or the house party, or the Sunday morning wedding brunch. The next moment you're gone, in the manner of a ghost.
