The Scientific Affairs Specialist will work along with field sales personnel to educate clients (i.e. Director of Laboratories, Medical Doctors, Clinical Chemists, Pathologists) on technical/medical aspects of company products through one on one, group presentations, grand rounds presentations as requested by the Company. 2. Must possess an expert understanding of the field of Immunoassays and Clinical Diagnostics and will serve as a medical and technical resource for information on company products. 3. He or she will be responsible for the generation of scientific and technical PowerPoint presentations, and educational information, handling and responding to customers product inquiries, and educate internal personnel on the use of company products. 4. Develop, execute and manage professional relations leveraging on diagnostic science and technology to achieve desired goals 5. Develop strategic alliance with Associations, Academia & the government to enhance brand equity, through scientific programs and consumption building initiatives. 6. Coordinate & present scientific evidence to secure product endorsement initiatives. 7. Conduct product and scientific/clinical training. 8. Develop and maintain local KOL pool to support key brand initiatives. Job Requirements - An expert understanding of the field of Clinical Diagnostics and Immunoassays with at least 3 years experience; - Industry experience in the Clinical Diagnostics area is strongly preferred; - Proven presentation skills are required; - Expert knowledge of PowerPoint; - Excellent written and oral communication skills in addition to strong relationship management skills; - Attention to detail, organization, resourcefulness, follow through – - PhD is required. - Major in Clinical Inspection is a must. - Must be willing to intensive domestic travel. - Bilingual in English and Mandarin. |
