Krener Assistant Professor opening in the Department of Mathematics, University of California, Davis. https://www.math.ucdavis.edu/about/employment/faculty/ https://www.math.ucdavis.edu/about/employment/kap The Department has seen a continued increase in the size and scope of its research, graduate and undergraduate programs in recent years. We are committed to enhancing excellence in all areas. Currently we have 41 permanent faculty and 8 Krener Assistant Professors. We also host 115 graduate students and 350 undergraduate majors. Our Department has had great success in garnering outside support for faculty research. We have a supportive environment in the Department for the development of junior faculty. Eleven faculty members initially appointed as assistant professors have gone on to become Guggenheim, Sloan, or von Humboldt Research Fellows in recent years. The Department is housed in a new Mathematical Sciences Building, completed in 2006. |
