Letting go of people or tradition is so hard,because you have been invest so much in them, so that let go can be scary,but is can also can be liberating.....or even essential to your happiness, if you don't let you go , you can find youself in a dark place, unable to kick your worst habits, sometimes, if we turely love do something, we have to be okay with letting go, Just as the auther saying: Time heals all wound, make perfect sense, but it failed to mention was the scars those wounds leave behind, the painful thing that happen to us permanently leave their mark. they don't necessary hurt anymore, but they are always there as a reminder, as a memory, and as time passes, maybe the memory gets a little fuzzy, but we always have the scar to remind us it happened that we live through it ,that we survived. and maybe I had some scars on me, but I felt like I was now ready to leave my mark on the world. |
