PhD scholarship at INRS, Canada; expected to start soon

Ph.D Positions in Canada: currently available in the Group of Advanced Nanomaterials and Applications (http://www.inrs.ca/dongling-ma?f=publications) at INRS, University of Quebec, Canada. Potential candidates are expected to have experience in Surface Chemistry and Colloidal Chemistry, in particular: nanoparticles synthesis using a wet-chemical approach, their surface functionalization and their characterization using XPS, XRD, SEM and so on. The knowledge on biomolecules is an asset. The candidate should have a M. Sc. degree in CHEMISTRY or related fields. The successful candidate should also be highly motivated. The abilities to initiate independent research as well as to work in a team setting are important. TOEFL and GRE are not required. But the candidates are expected to have at least basic English communication skills and good English writing skills. Only candidates who satisfy ALL these requirements should send their complete CV (please include GPA for university studies, publications, awards, etc.) to Prof. Dongling Ma (ma@emt.inrs.ca) Directly for consideration.
