主编发邮件来了，这个情况是否需要重投？？？ 已有10人参与

前段时间投了个special issue，两天后给了稿件编号，又过几天发了这个邮件过来，说文章不属于special issue的范围。这种情况下，我需要重新投吗？ Dear Dr. XXX, Hope you are doing fine. Please note the Guest Editor has confirmed that your manuscript can be considered for regular issue as the work does not address any specific topic nor the general scope of the special issue. Therefore, I will proceed changing the article type from special issue to regular paper and shall assign your manuscript to the Editor for further handling. I hope this is fine with you.
