http://www.inp-greifswald.de/web ... mp;amp;Language=eng The Leibniz Institute for Plasma Science and Technology (INP Greifswald) is the largest non-university institute in the area of low temperature plasmas in Europe, including their basic research and technical applications. On the one hand, INP aims to carry out application-oriented basic research while on the other hand it aims to optimize and further develop established plasmaassisted procedures and plasma products. 2 Senior Scientists/PostDocs for Development and Characterisation of Plasma Sources. The INP Greifswald is seeking to recruit 2 qualified scientists or engineers to support our team in the north-east of Germany, close to the Baltic Sea. The position is funded under a EU-project in Plasma Technology. This full-time position (currently 40 hours per week) is available starting earliest from August 1st 2013 and will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of 30 months. Field of activity: Focus is the development of novel plasma sources for applications in different areas: material processing and surface modification, power transmission systems, environmental technologies and medical treatment opportunities. |
