The presses are doing what they should do: make a good story. And that'll making the best story if they really made the Best player really angry and even hit them. What's more, I don's think Taiwan is a part of P.R.C. neither... They just belong to the generalized chinese circle. But why should we be caring about this ? As long as we speaking the same language, we can go visit, study, and work at either side of the canal, it's already good for the people from both sides.
