目标和范围

大数据涵盖各个领域，包括互联网搜索，社交网络，金融、经济部门，气象，基因学，复杂物理模拟，以及生物和环境等多个领域。大数据的4V特点，即数据量大(volume)，高速变换(velocity)，种类繁多(variety)，精确性低(veracity)，给目前机器学习带来了巨大的挑战。然而，依靠可伸缩的机器学习技术为大数据各个领域的数据建模和分析具有显著意义。
