| Open the chest cavity of the mouse to expose the heart, which should still be beating. Carefully insert a 1 mL syringe with attached 27 G needle into the left ventricle and inject fluorescein-conjugated L. esculentum (Tomato) lectin at 100 ug/mouse. Allow 2 min for circulation. Then, perfuse with 1% PFA. Tumor vessel perfusion can now be visualized using fl uorescence microscopy. |
