[交流] What a Blue Date

Yesterday, I was rather blue. It was something like a blind date, and I was taken to a restaurant for super by a group of unfamiliar girls, one Ph.D. candidate, and one post-Ph. D. researcher. They known each other quite well, but I was left behind, silent. It was awful for me to sit alone. Although there were quite a lot of different meat to be barbecued and I had no appetite. The Ph.D. candidate was supposed to be my future-girl-friend, but it was almost the first lunch we shared together. We didn’t have much to say. I was not quite myself at that time.

Unfortunately, two of her friends asked quite a lot of questions that I didn’t want to answer. I regarded those were stupid questions, like what kind of girls is your favorite type, etc. I known those questions were meant to trigger strong offensive if I chose to answer frankly. So I tred to evade those stupid questions by trying to talk about other issues. It seemed that they were not quite satisfied with my answers and they even scolded me for not answering their questions directly. So the atmosphere there were tense and rather unfriendly, it almost killed me.

On the way back to the campus, I had nothing to talk with them. Thus, I played with my cell-phone to calm myself down. What a suck day, I deiced not to take part in some party with some female doctor or post-doctors anymore. It was rather horrible!

I think maybe they wish U to feel comfortable and join them, so they ask U those questions. They donnot want to leave U alone. Next time maybe U can take someone with U to join the party.
