China's Tian-2 was named the fastest supercomputer in the world.

The Top 500 listing of the world's fastest computer says the Tianhe-2, developed by the National University of Denfense Technology in Chasha is the fastest supercoputer in the world. It can compute 33,860 trillion times a second. It knocked the US-developed Titan off the first place, the latter has a speed half of the Tianhe-2. Happy to know that!  |
