[交流] Field tests in summer

It is burning outside these days. And I am about to begin my field tests on irrigation after four days. The experiments on two systems, sprinkler irrigation and drip irrigation, have been prepared for nearly 8 months since last November. We, exactly I, required the components including the pumps, the sprinklers, the emitters, the pipes and fittings listed in a menu from two factories. The pumps here are originally designed by my colleague and produced in April. Besides, I bought pressure gauges and volume meter, designed some fittings not available on market, and borrowed some other devices from another department in our school. Not so smoothly these were done in the past months, the field test was delayed to recent days. But the temperature rises, the wind speed varies frequently with a higher magtitude, it rains more often and less students will be left on campus if the experiments are not accomplished as soon.
On the other hand, an intermediate inspection will be conducted on July, 20th, so my work is pressing. A younger girl assists me, but she is lack of experiences. An aged worker in our team helped me in manufacture of detailed workpieces while many many things have to be done by myself. Therefore, I am really bothered these day.

Oh, come on!

My wife was also working in field for a project. We do not have enough gradaute students, so she has to do most the things by herself.

It is really not easy for a woman.
