selecting the proper materials is significant to seawater corrosion, but each item of equipment is applied for different materials. i think you need to describe the exact item.
but, there are many kinds of materials to be in service for seawater circumstance, such as Ti, duplex steel and so on. and I think Ti is more widely available.
During my graduate, my project is about desalation of seawater, and 316L is applied for the shell of plant.
please list the item of equipment, and the condition. then we can exchang the opinion.
