投了一篇文章，文章中通过DFT计算基得到了一个数据，审稿人提出异议 Another weak point of the present work is that is relies on the GGA exchange-correlation functional . This functional leads to a well known severe underestimation of the band gap of semiconductors and insulators . This casts serious doubt on the value of the formation energy of negatively charged defects and of electron affinities. Thus, the *** obtained in the present work are unfortunately uncertain. The authors may want to argue that since the *** is the difference between two systems, the band gap problem error is canceled in some way. But they should very carefully discuss this point. 我想由于是差值，2个体系的误差相减，这个GGA所产生的误差应该可以忽略不计的。我的想法是通过一个例子，运用HSE和GGA两种方法来计算说明，GGA不会影响我的参数的合理性。 但是，我对于HSE不了解，还请大神指教！ PS： 由于我的缺陷体系大概有280个原子，我能不能用在采用GGA优化好的结构的基础之上，采用HSE进行自洽计算（我只关心能量）。在INCAR中加入INCAR 中，加入 LHFCALC = .TRUE. ; HFSCREEN = 0.2 ALGO = Damped ; TIME = 0.4 |
