[求助] 酶活力单位我用荧光OD值表示的，要怎样和老外说清楚呢

大家好，俺一篇文章用荧光酶标仪测了一个蛋白酶活力，采用荧光强度变化代表酶活力值，实验与方法中的表达为“Results were calculated as arbitrary intensity of fluorescence per μg of protein”。
在最后的图表中酶活力单位表达为“OD/min/μg”。

本来看文献大家都这么标的，我也知道荧光强度就是OD值。可是修改意见反馈后有个审稿人对这点表示质疑，他说：Line 122: The description of caspase activity is not in agreement with Table 2. If it is the change in fluorescence over time that is measured, then it should be described as such. Table 2 describes OD/min/microg. OD is optical density, which is not related to fluorescence. Please clarify.

大家帮忙看看，我要怎样跟他解释呢？？？
