Compared to some kids in poverty country, we are so lucky and so happy for our education opportunity.
If you want to do something ,you should hold on. your mother may be anxious for your study, your career and your marriage in future, which is the reason that she donot want you to pursue a PHD. You can communicate with her as frequently as you can, and the on-line talk may shorten the distance beween you and your mother.

All the efforts you do today will give you a bright future . After your graduation from PHD, you can choose a job which is near your home, or they come to your city to live with you. Nowadays, traffic is so convinient that you can meet your parents soon .
In one word , I think you should insist on your dream and the thought in your deep heart.
Many years later ,you would benifit from your insistance today.

However, they did! I really feel I am lucky to have kind and loving parents. As time goes by, I cannot just think about myself, to be honest, PhD is a risky thing to do for me. I am not the kind of person who likes academic things very much. I think it's better to go back to my home and have a discussion with my parents seriously! All in all, thank you, guys!

Lucky got an offer, but not a PhD offer, and I am still waiting for the PhD chance, but I know it is getting harder in this country and cost much more! We will see how the ''God'' plan for my future!
