CLEO/QELS is Now Accepting Papers!

The deadline for submissions is December 3, 2007, at 12:00 P.M. Noon EST - 17.00 GMT. CLEO is the premiere venue for the exchange of information relating to lasers and laser applications. CLEO accepts papers motivated by applied research and early development in lasers, nonlinear optics, electro-optics and photonics. Papers should be technical in nature, with emphasis on: concepts, materials, techniques, components, systems or applications. QELS features fundamental scientific discoveries enabled by lasers and other contemporary optical techniques. QELS accepts papers motivated by basic research in the fields of quantum electronics and laser science. Papers should be technical in nature, with emphasis on: fundamental studies, both experimental and theoretical, relevant topics including classical, nonlinear and quantum optics; laser, atomic and molecular physics; optical spectroscopy; and high-intensity light–matter interactions.
