[交流] 【Weekly topic】Do you think a quiet environment is necessary for studying?

It is said that the environment is of great importance to the creature to live. So as a superior animal in this world, a good environment is much correlated with our happiness of living. For a better life in this competitive society, high knowledge storage takes the charge of most part of it. What decides the volume of the storage is the efficiency of study. To the efficiency of study, there are factors which have visual influence on it, such as man’s talent, material’s quality, emotion of man, and the one we called a quiet environment. People said a good quite environment is good for studying, mostly because it makes you concentrate on one thing. But there are some exceptions which make me very confused, because for their efficiency of study they need some noisy environment.

It was a weird people who was my senior high school deskmate, he was the one who need a little noise environment to help him to learn. In order to achieve his purpose, he would spare no effort to make people talk with him. And believe it or not, his performance in math was great. There was a time i adored him so much that i decided to imitate his unique way of study, and after that i just thought he was a legend. Another example is about me, a very quiet environment is not suitable to me of my high efficiency of study. I would give some evidences here: firstly, i fall asleep when i study alone in a very quite place, so i can’t study at home. Secondly, i learn something very fast when some guys with me and a little noise here. But the problem is i will have no mind to study if the noise is a little bigger. So maybe it’s to me is the well moderated noise.

As we all know, a good place to study is library, in which you can get the highest efficiency of study. Why? We know the study atmosphere works. So, it seems a quiet environment isn’t very necessary for studying as long as there were good study atmosphere there. It’s all about my personal opinion. So, my dear worms, what about you? Do you think a quiet environment is necessary for studying？

The quiet environment is quite important for my study. If someone talks to me or around me, I could not pay attention to studying. In my opinion, the learning process should be continuous. It's too hard to continue to learn if interrupted by something.
Once give your mind to concentrate on learning, you will ignore everything around. Just as you listen the music while you are reading the paper, you don't notice the lyrics and so on.
Attention is critical to learning anyway.
