In summary, in this article, we demonstrated a novel isothermal signal amplification strategy for the construction of a simple and label-free miRNA biosensor. In principle, the much simplified procedure suggests that the proposed miRNA biosensor can substantially be upscaled by adopting the complementary metal−oxide semiconductor technology for biosensor/array fabrication and by replacing the manual operation with a microfluidic cartridge. |
