Positions available for postdoctoral fellows and visiting students in Houston, Texas, USA
Postdoctoral and visiting student positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Jiqiang Ling at The University of Texas-Houston Medical School. Dr. Ling obtained his B.S. degree from Fudan University, and his Ph.D. degree from The Ohio State University. Following his postdoctoral training at Yale University, he recently joined the Department of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics (MMG) at The University of Texas. His research interests are to combine state-of-the-art biochemical, genetic, genomic, and proteomic approaches to understand the connections between protein synthesis defects, protein folding and human diseases, and utilize chemical and synthetic biology tools to engineer the genetic code of microorganisms.
