[交流] My daughter's naive story-5

My daughter was 2 years old. And one day, we traveled to Berkeley, California and stayed in a Hotel at the University Ave.
Just after dinner, we suddenly heard someone singing Ricky martin's "SHE BANGS" with a tone-deaf voice.
" Talk to me
Tell me your name
You blow me off like it's all the same
You lit a fuse and now I'm ticking away
Like a bomb
Yeah, baby

Talk to me
Tell me your sign
You're switching sides like a Gemini
You're playing games and now you're hittin' my
Heart
Like a drum
my daughter met a sun-shine guy.........".

MY daughter was boring at that time with nothing to do. Hearing someone's singing, she was so excited. So she pulled me with her togeter and rushed out.

In the lobby, we saw a hansome and sun-shine, apparently oriental guy singing the song. When he found us, he stopped singing. My daughter said: " Oh, please continue, and can I accompany dance with you?".
The guy was so amused, and he began to sing the song again. And my daughter then was waggling her hip and waist with hands swaying in the air. Occasionally, she would stop for a while and try to find the right lyrics to follow. It was really a fun for her though the guy's singing skill really could not be complimented.

A few days later when we watched the American Idol show, my daughter was so excited to see that guy shown up and sang the same song.

You know who that guy was? It was Willam Huang, the first Chinese singer in American Idol.

From that on, my daughter always likes to amuse herself by mimicking Willam's singing. And even now, she cannot sing a song quite well except in a formal situations. HAH!
