近年来,随着地铁、舰船的兴起以及高压直流输电工程的快速发展,我国的用电量逐渐增加,直流断路器的需求也随之增加。不同于普通断路器,由于直流开断无自然过零点,因此国内外研究人员普遍采用人工过零的方法即在正常或故障的直流电流上叠加一个反向的高频电流来创造过零点,这种方法成为高压电器领域研究的热点之一。解决直流开断的根本就是熄灭直流电弧,因此须了解电弧熄灭过程中的形态及特点,数字图像处理技术的日趋成熟使之成为可能,利用高速摄像机对开断过程的电弧形态进行记录并进行分析从而总结出直流电弧的相关特点。
