[交流] My daughter's naive story-2

When my daughter was 1 year old, she was still an ignorant "animal" konwing nothing about the seasons, so she passed enjoying the season's change. But when she was two year old, she became have her own opinion on the world. And here is her opion on the fall of her second year in this world.

It was deep fall of the year, and we drove on the shattack ave in Downtown, Oakland, California. Along the road, it was beautiful scenery with lots of maple tress lining on both sides with most of the leaves fallen down. While I was driving, my daughter was quietly reading her favorite story of " Tinkle bell" at the back seat of the car.
Suddenly, she stopped reading and began to look out of the window with a stunning and puzzled expressions on her face. My wife was so curious about her abrubt behavior.
With some special cautions, she gentelly asked her" Hi, sweetheart, what are you thinking about"?
My daughter hesitated for a while, and then shouted out loudly: " Look at those shame trees, they took of their clothes and naked in such a cold wheater. Are they taking a sun-bath now?"
With a burst of laugh again, my wife hugged her tightly and said:" you are such a cute animal. The trees are growing up each year like you, and their old clothes are too small for them now. They need even more becautiful and bigger clothes. In autumn, trees will take off their 'leaf' clothes for haviing even more beautiful clothes in the next year. "
She seemed understand a little, but looked still being puzzeled. So the other day, we went to the library and borrowed seveal kid's books about the seasons for our daughter to read.

In order to contribute to the national policy " one family one kid", I have only one daughter. And I found that it is Good since I cannot share my love to any other kid anymore.
