Embracing Uncertainties in Life, Are You Ready?

Experiments reveal that the majority of the human being is uncertainty averse. There is a famous experiment conducted by Nobel laureate Kahneman on behavior economics. A person is given the choice between two scenarios, one with a guaranteed payoff and one without. In the guaranteed scenario, the person receives $50. In the uncertain scenario, a coin is flipped to decide whether the person receives $100 or nothing. The expected payoff for both scenarios is $50. Kahneman found that most people will accept a certain payment of less than $50 (for example, $40), rather than taking the gamble and possibly receiving nothing. This tendency will make us miss many brilliant opportunity for growth. Greater investor in the financial market said" Despite the countless perils, mankind still sail, by the same token, despite numerous stock market crash, mankind still enter the market, with a vision of a better future, to take part in this great game". I believe that's what makes him a great investor ever in the human history. That is what we should learn from him, to take part in the the great game as the only thing that's certain is uncertainty.
